thanks(!). i wanted to say your site was equally awesome … but it isn’t loading for me. sez, “This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.”

what I recall of the submenu: The submenu (the drop down part) isn’t skinnable on instantiation. The reason is that it’s created dynamically when it’s activated. If you want to skin it, you have to intercept the call to create it.

Can you elaborate on this? Can you provide a quick exmaple on setting the style of the sub menus in the event handler?

from the adobe bug repository we have scale9 not working when embedding images through [Embed()] in ASProject.

the reason for this according to Philippe is that "scale9grid only applies to vector graphics - not to bitmaps or movieclips." wonder if he's including vector-only movie clips there.
